Description

  • IKAR Webbing Anchorage Sling with Wear Sleeve – Complies to EN795:1997 Class B and EN354:2002
  • 28mm Webbing Anchorage Sling with Wear Sleeve, to be used to create a fall arrest anchor point, when passed around ‘suitable’ structure
  • It can either be looped around and both loop ends connected together or choked back on its self
  • The blue webbing wear sleeve should be positioned so it protects the orange anchorage sling from the structure and becoming damaged
  • This Anchorage Sling can also be used as a lanyard with suitable connectors for restraint, work positioning or as part of a fall arrest system
  • Available lengths:
    IK AB 50 – 0.5 metre – weight 0.1kg
    IK AB 100 – 1 metre – weight 0.2kg
    IK AB 150 – 1.5 metre – weight 0.25kg
    IK AB 200 – 2 metre – weight 0.35kg
    Please note that all fall protection equipment made from synthetic fibres available for use by an employee should be inspected by the User prior to use each and every time it is used (for which they should have been trained to do so) and at least every 6 months should be subjected to a Detailed Inspection by a competent person. The actual frequency of the Detailed Inspection by the competent person should be deemed through ‘risk assessment’ taking into account the frequency of use and the environment it is being used in. The competent person carrying out the Detailed Inspection should have specific training to inspect fall protection PPE.
